Lexi “Paddle Girl”- Local Guide & Mangrove Enthusiast

Marathon is home to Lexi, better known around the Keys as “Paddle Girl“. Living aboard her boat full-time in Boot Key Harbor, she’s truly born of the brine and most at home when she’s on the water.

Raised by an Ecologist and lifelong nature lover, Lexi developed a deep appreciation for the delicate ecosystems that make the Florida Keys so special. Her passion for mangroves runs deep, and she loves sharing their hidden wonders with visitors from around the world.

As SpongeBob’s tour guide extraordinaire, Lexi combines knowledge, humor, and infectious enthusiasm to create unforgettable adventures on the water. Her free spirit was shaped by years of backpacking and hiking, experiences that fueled her curiosity and connection to the natural world.

Today, she finds herself following in her father’s footsteps, introducing others to the beauty, wildlife, and ecological importance of the mangrove forests she loves so much. Quirky, energetic, and endlessly passionate, Lexi thrives where the water meets the wild—and she can’t wait to share that world with you!
